design and development of content, sites, apps, experiences, logos, what-have-you
Future QA Process - Step 1
Step 1 - Observe page spread as quickly and as accurately as possible, looking for a variety of "defects" which impede the user's ability to actually read the content.
Future QA Process - Step 2
Step 2 - Upon noting a defect, the user (QA technician) clicks on the page that needs to be noted as imperfect and a modal dialog box opens for the user to start typing the issue she sees.
Future QA Process - Step 3
Step 3 - The dialog box uses a smart autocomplete feature to suggest what the user may be trying to type, based on the most common issues seen.
Future QA Process - Step 4
Step 4 - After confirming that the defect type suggested is correct, the user is asked to note which page the issue is on, and whether this page is one of the unnumbered pages which most books have, such as title and copyright pages.
Future QA Process - Reporting
Reporting - Designed to be push data as part of an interactive dashboard instead of the manual entry and pull of the data at the time. This is an early draft of an architectural prototype.
